Tata Nexon 2023 Facelift Reviews:

Tata brand is working on a Facelift, still Tata Nexon 2023 is a different facelift, it is the new Avatar. It’s not something you see every day – a car getting a brand-new look on the outside, a whole new interior, and the latest twin-clutch gearbox. But then again, not every car is like this one. Nexon – the reigning champion of SUV sales in the nation for two consecutive years – a vehicle that carries the hefty burden of soaring expectations.

Back in 2017, when the Nexon first graced the roads, it achieved a milestone that was truly groundbreaking for an Indian car: a resounding 5-star crash test rating from Global NCAP in 2018. Fast forward to 2020, and it experienced its first rejuvenation, marking yet another remarkable chapter in its journey. With a staggering 500,000 Nexons proudly rolling off the assembly line to date, Tata has indisputably solidified its standing as the quintessential SUV manufacturer in India. This remarkable feat is made even more impressive when considering its fierce competition, including the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and the Kia Sonet.

What sets the Nexon apart and has consistently propelled it to greatness is its steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional value without breaking the bank, a trait that eludes many of its rivals.

2023 Tata Nexon Exterior

The 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift has undergone a comprehensive makeover, ensuring it stands out in the crowd. From the very front, you’ll notice the striking changes that give it a bold and dynamic appearance. The redesigned nose, complete with a fresh bonnet and sculpted fenders, catches the eye.

The bonnet is perched higher, creating an imposing presence, and the raised ridges on either side add to its commanding aura. At the top of the bonnet, the new Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) feature distinctive slat-like patterns, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. Connecting these DRLs is a high-mounted faux grille, and below it, within wide brackets resembling air intakes, you’ll find the main projector headlamp and fog lights. Adding an extra touch of finesse, the angular bumper seems designed to channel airflow efficiently, with air curtains directing it around the wheels.

As we move to the side, the Nexon’s signature curved coupe roof and steeply raked windscreen maintain their character. However, there are fresh 16-inch alloy wheels with unique inserts, providing a touch of sophistication.

The rear of the vehicle has also seen a significant revamp. A larger spoiler adorns the top, ingeniously concealing the rear wiper. The ‘V’ shaped signature lights, a trademark of the Nexon, have evolved with the addition of a connecting band that elegantly sweeps when you lock or unlock the car. The Tata logo, in a clever design choice, appears to ‘float’ in three dimensions, adding an air of sophistication. However, it’s worth noting that while the overall design is impressive, there may be room for improvement in the fit and finish, especially around the tail-lights and a few other areas.

Under the skin, the Nexon retains its suspension aggregates and boasts a class-leading ground clearance of 208mm, ensuring it can handle a variety of terrains with ease. All in all, the 2023 Tata Nexon combines a striking exterior with practical performance enhancements, making it a compelling choice in the SUV segment.

Why 2023 New Tata Nexon?

In the world of automotive design, there’s a timeless saying: “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.” And that’s precisely the mantra Tata has followed when it comes to the suspension and driving dynamics of the new Nexon. While there’s a subtle touch of stiffness at lower speeds, thanks to its setup and tall springs, once you pick up the pace.

The Nexon’s ride transforms into a silky-smooth experience, with the suspension truly coming into its own. It’s remarkable how the Nexon maintains a level ride despite its impressive 208mm ground clearance. When faced with challenging road conditions and unruly bumps, its body control and ability to absorb shocks truly stand out.

What truly captivates you about the Nexon, especially on rough roads, is its ability to keep going without demanding you to slow down excessively. This car has always been a paragon of comfort in its class, and the introduction of the new seamless twin-clutch automatic transmission and the recently updated diesel engine only enhance its driving pleasure. The Nexon exudes confidence in its handling, coupled with that quintessential practical and rugged SUV feel.

However, a few aspects bear scrutiny. Its real-world efficiency, particularly with the petrol variant, remains to be seen when compared to its rivals. While it may not exude the same sense of mechanical sophistication and robustness as some of its competitors, it still holds its own. There’s room for improvement in certain areas of fit and finish, a detail-oriented aspect that Tata can further refine.

Nevertheless, when you sum it all up, the 2023 Nexon offers a well-rounded package, likely delivering excellent value for your hard-earned money. Judging by its track record, this is precisely what resonates with Indian car buyers. So, if you were a fan of the Nexon before, you’re bound to fall head over heels for this new iteration.

Ertiga CNG Reviews

As said earlier it comes in the CNG model also which offers an attractive proposition for those looking to save on fuel costs without compromising on space and practicality. The transition between CNG and petrol modes is seamless, and the vehicle performs admirably in both modes. The cabin space is well-utilized, providing ample room for passengers and luggage. However, the CNG tank does eat into the cargo space slightly. The overall ride quality is comfortable, and the fuel efficiency is undoubtedly a standout feature.

The CNG makes a strong case for itself as a family-friendly, budget-conscious choice. Maruti’s Ertiga CNG variant is a game-changer for individuals seeking a balance between affordability and eco-friendliness. The CNG option doesn’t compromise the Ertiga’s practicality and versatility, making it a great choice for urban families and taxi operators alike.

The engine’s performance is satisfactory, especially considering the cost savings in CNG mode. The interior offers a good mix of comfort and functionality, although the third row might feel a bit cramped for adults on longer journeys. Overall, the Ertiga CNG presents a compelling case for those who prioritize cost-effective, green mobility solutions.

The Maruti Ertiga CNG ticks a lot of boxes for those wanting an economical MPV. The integration of CNG technology is seamless, providing a smooth transition between fuel modes. The interior design and layout are ergonomic and practical, offering decent comfort levels. The fuel efficiency is where the Ertiga CNG truly shines of 26.11km/kg, making it an ideal choice for individuals with high daily commutes or large families seeking cost-effective transportation.

However, it’s important to note that the CNG tank does compromise the third-row seating’s space slightly. If fuel economy and affordability are top priorities, the Ertiga CNG is worth considering. Maruti’s Ertiga CNG variant capitalizes on the brand’s reputation for delivering economical vehicles. The CNG option is a welcome addition, especially for those concerned about rising fuel prices.

The vehicle maintains its well-loved attributes, such as spaciousness and practicality. Despite this, the Ertiga CNG remains a strong contender in the budget MPV segment, offering both financial savings and a comfortable ride.
