Skoda Kushaq Explorer Loaded with Off-Road Capabilities.

Skoda has unveiled the Kushaq Explorer, a tougher version of its SUV designed specifically for the Indian market. The Kushaq Explorer Edition elevates the driving experience with its distinctive outdoor-themed exterior enhancements and additional features, enhancing the already luxurious Style trim. Should Skoda opt to introduce the Explorer Edition to the market, it is anticipated to command a premium of between Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh over the Kushaq Style, encompassing all the supplementary upgrades. However, there hasn’t been any official confirmation regarding its release in the market yet.

Although the Skoda Kushaq isn’t primarily meant for off-roading, it offers several upgrades that will excite 4WD enthusiasts. The vehicle comes equipped with Ultra Mile 44 all-terrain Bull off-road tires both at the front and back, along with an orange-colored tow hook installed on the lower part of the bumper.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Design

The Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition stands out visually due to its distinct exterior features. The front grille, emblems, and mirrors are finished in sleek black, with vibrant orange highlights on the grille, side body cladding, front bumper, and rear spoiler. Stylish 16-inch wheels with blacked-out accents and durable 215/65 section all-terrain tires add to its rugged appearance in the side profile. The SUV’s tough look is further enhanced by orange tow hooks at the front and back, as well as a roof rack featuring an auxiliary light bar, which enhances its off-road appeal.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Interior

Skoda hasn’t revealed details about the interior of Skoda Kushaq Explorer yet, but considering it’s based on the Style variant, one can expect the Explorer Edition to retain all the features of the Style trim. This includes the 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital dials, ventilated seats, and sunroof, while possibly introducing some new additions as well.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer is available in both 1.0-liter TSI and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine variants, delivering 115bhp and 150bhp respectively, accompanied by manual and automatic transmissions, the Kushaq Explorer Edition ensures a versatile and dynamic driving performance tailored to the preferences of discerning drivers. The Explorer Edition might have a different ride height compared to the original SUV due to the off-road wheels it comes with, while still offering the same engine options.
