Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) Continues to Post Strong Sales Growth, Records its Highest Monthly Sales with 27,474 Units in June 2024
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported an impressive 40% growth in sales for June 2024, achieving its highest monthly sales with 27,474 units. This total includes domestic sales of 25,752 units and 1,722 units of exports. This significant increase comes on the heels of the 19,608 units sold in June 2023, marking a continued upward trajectory for the company.
Sustained Growth Across 2024
TKM’s robust performance is attributed to the sustained and overwhelming response to its entire MPV and SUV lineup. The company’s customer-centric approach and the rollout of value-added services have played crucial roles in maintaining this positive momentum. Enhanced accessibility in both metropolitan and smaller regions has also contributed to this success.
In the first half of 2024, TKM reported a 47% growth compared to the same period in 2023. From January to June 2024, TKM sold 150,250 units, a significant increase from the 102,371 units sold in the first six months of 2023.

This model’s popularity underscores Toyota’s growing presence in the SUV segment. The Urban Cruiser Taisor, available in 1.0L Turbo, 1.2L Petrol, and E-CNG options, offers a fusion of style, high performance, and fuel economy, backed by Toyota’s renowned value-added services.
Market Expansion and Innovation
TKM’s strategic focus on rural areas has broadened its customer base and driven significant sales momentum. Additionally, TKM has recently launched the company-owned Toyota Used Car Outlet (TUCO) in New Delhi. Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan): 89%, Kirloskar Systems Limited (India): 11%.
