Volkswagen Inaugurates New Showroom in Uttar Pradesh
Expanding its footprint in Uttar Pradesh, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has inaugurated two new customer touchpoints in Prayagraj and Meerut. This move underscores the brand’s commitment to enhancing accessibility for its products and services across India.
The newly opened dealerships bring the total number of its sales and service facilities in Uttar Pradesh to 14 and nine, respectively. In Prayagraj, the touchpoint boasts a three-car display featuring the 5-star GNCAP-rated Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun, alongside the Tiguan SUV. Additionally, it houses a separate workshop with eight service bays to cater to customers’ maintenance needs effectively.
Heading the Prayagraj touchpoint is Mr. Sunil Mishra, Dealer Partner of G.S.R. Automobiles Private Limited. Supported by a team of 30 sales and service professionals, the dealership aims to provide top-notch assistance to Volkswagen customers in the region.
On the other hand, the Meerut dealership, led by Mr. Navneet Agarwal, Dealer Partner of Maa Sheetla Auto-wheels Private Limited, operates as a sales-only city store with a four-car display. Despite focusing solely on sales, it offers Express Service, Assistance, and Mobile Support Unit, extending its services through the main facility located in Moradabad.
Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, emphasized the importance of catering to the increasing demand for premium and reliable vehicles, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. He highlighted the commitment to making its German-engineered products and world-class services accessible to a broader customer base across India.
