In a surprising move amidst price hikes across the EV market due to the new EMP scheme, Ola Electric, on the brink of its IPO, has taken a different route by slashing prices on its S1 X lineup.

The already competitive pricing of the S1 X range has been further enhanced by Ola Electric. The introductory price of the S1 X 2kWh variant is now Rs 69,999, marking a notable reduction from its earlier tag of Rs 79,999. Similarly, the S1 X 3kWh variant sees a price drop to Rs 84,999 from its previous Rs 89,999, while the top-tier S1 X 4kWh variant now retails at Rs 99,999, down from its original price of Rs 1.10 lakh. Customers can expect deliveries of the S1 X lineup to kick off in the coming week.
However, prices for the S1 X+, S1 Air, and S1 Pro models have seen minimal changes. The S1 X+ is now listed at Rs 89,999, reflecting a modest increase of Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, the S1 Air maintains its price at Rs 1.05 lakh, and the S1 Pro remains steady at Rs 1.30 lakh. Notably, all these electric scooters come bundled with an 8-year warranty as standard.
